The Mojave sub division is known for its rolling hills, drop-off cliffs, and the famous Tehachapi Loop. Southern Pacific started building the line down the San Joaquin Valley in 1874 and began building over the Tehachapi mountains in 1875 and was completed in 1876. In 1899, the Santa Fe secured trackage rights over the Southern Pacific between Mojave and Bakersfield. The Mojave sub is trans-dem based with 1/3 arc dem, using utm google imaging tiles and Trainz 5m grid baseboard, you can expect great accuracy from all of this. Over 68 miles between Bakersfield and Mojave, The Mojave sub has been considered one of the busiest single mainline's in the United States. With lots of custom content, rolling stock, locomotives, and sessions, the Mojave sub will keep you busy for hours to come!
